Peer Influence
My peers can have either a good influence or a bad influence on my decision making.  If I am at the mall and I can't decide what to buy between two items, they can tell me what the good and bad factors of both items are.  This can be a good influence on my decision making.  Luckily, I have yet to experience bad influences from my peers because all the kids I hang around are great people.
My peers have a positive affect on my decision making.  I ask them for their advice before I make a decision.  Then they tell me if I am about to make a stupid, smart, or insane choice.  If my peers had a negative affect on my decision making, I would trust myself enough to realize that what they are telling me to do is not right.
Last year when I was picking classes for St. Joes, I experienced some parental pressure.  My parents wanted me to take all honors classes.  They both thought I would do fine and not have any problems.  I disagreed with them but in the end I was forced to take all honors.  Now I see why they made me take them.  The classes have helped me become a better and more responsible student.
